Beverly Ashley Rentzell, 68, of Red Bank passed away July 6th, 2008 at a local hospital after a valiant fight with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Red Bank and attended St. Thaddaeus Episcopal Church where she was a member of the choir and the Flower Guild. Beverly was a member of the Sweet Adelines International Scenic City Chorus for many years. She was also a member of the Sports Car Club of America. She worked with her sons during their racing careers across the country and abroad and was known as Mom to all associated in the Motorcycle Road Racing. She loved and was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her son, Bob Rentzell and her parents, Buford and Betty Ashley. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Robert L. Rentzell of Red Bank; her son, Lindsey Rentzell also of Red Bank, a son, Kevin (Tammy Keese) Rentzell of Estill Springs, TN and his daughters, Amanda Masako Rentzell, 9, of Gig Harbor, WA; and Victoria Ashley Keese Rentzell, 5, of Estill Springs, TN; her brother, Buford (Brenda) T. Ashley, Jr. of Chattanooga; two sisters, Kathy (Randy) Lewis of Acworth, GA and Martha (Duane) Brown of Chattanooga, TN. There will be a Celebration of Life visitation with Blessing and Prayer Vigil held at 6:00 PM on Saturday at St. Thaddaeus Episcopal Church, 4300 Locksley Lane, Hwy 153 and Hwy 58. Services to Celebrate Bev's Life will be 10:00 AM Sunday Morning with the worship services. Come as you are.
