Obituary of Salvador P. Bendijo

Salvador P. Bendijo, 85, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 at his residence. He retired after 25 years of service from GE, formerly RCA. Salvador serviced American soldiers during World War II in the Philippines, his home country. He was a member of Abba's House in Hixson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Corazon Rivera Bendijo. Survivors include his children, Jocelyn Bendijo (Calvin) Carson of Soddy-Daisy; Raymon (Denise) Bendijo of Ramsey, Minnesota; and Susan Bendijo of Hixson; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jessica and Brandt. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Raymon Bendijo, Calvin Carson, Gerald Madolora, Ellery Madolora, Derek Sisk and Randy Carson will serve as pallbearers. Donald Carson and David Garcia will serve as honorary pallbearers.
