Obituary of Crystal B. Dean

Crystal Dean, 64, of Hixson, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006 in an area hospital. She was a native of Mt. Airy, NC and a resident of Chattanooga for the last 21 years. Mrs. Dean retired from Chattanooga State Technical Community College after 18 years of service. She was of the Protestant faith, a member of the Chattanooga Hiking Club and enjoyed traveling, aerobics and yoga. She was the daughter of the late Archie and Nancy Belton. She is survived by her husband, Bob Dean of Hixson; son, Jeff Dean of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Kimberly Hanlon of Brambleton, Virginia; Sisters, Peggy Chilton of Mt. Airy, NC and Dawn Whitney of Charlotte, NC; Grandchildren, Kathryn and Matthew Hanlon of Brambleton, Virginia; Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Fred Krautwurst officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
