Obituary of John Eugene Bradford

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John Eugene Bradford, 72, passed away on May 14th 2017 in Chattanooga. John taught at Baylor School for 32 years and loved every minute of every day there. As a former Navy pilot, he looked death eye-ball to eye-ball many times. Because of this, he relished everyday to its fullest. When he wasn’t teaching or coaching, he was playing golf, formerly tennis, riding bikes, hiking, or camping. His positive and joyous perspective on life will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife and fellow teacher, Cathy Bradford. John is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Whitney Dickerson; grandson, Grady Dickerson; son-in-law, Jonathan Dickerson; his two sisters, Julie Sibol and Sue Arredondo; nephews Matt and John Vann, Tony and Russ Arredondo. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20th at the Baylor School Chapel. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20th at the Baylor School Dining Hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Baylor School in memory of John Bradford or in the form of a kind memory you have of John sent to his family so that his memory may live on for those he is survived by.
