Mr. Bradford was my eighth-grade math teacher and middle school basketball coach. I looked forward to his class each day. I'm 53 years old now and I still think about him from time to time. He was a very positive person. I liked him so much that when I got my first cat I named him Bradford. I looked up Mr. Bradford after all these years to see if he was still at Baylor but figured he was retired. I was sad to see he has passed away but wanted to let you know he had a significant impact on people like me.

I am sorry for your loss. But know in God's Word the Bible found at Revelation 21:4 which says, He will wipe out every year from their eyes and death will be no more and death will be no more, neither mourning, nor pain be anymore. Look forward to this wonderful promise.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to John's family. John and I graduated high school together, and I didn't see him again until our 50th reunion. He and his lovely wife made me feel so comfortable even after all those years. John will be missed by all our classmates. His love of life and his humor were always with him. R.I.P. dear John. Your classmate of 1962 from Scottsboro High School, Joyce Goldston Soldo

We moved to Chattanooga during 7th grade, so I didn’t go through the same admissions process as the rest of the boys in my class. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to handle Algebra in 8th grade. Mr. Bradford came to my house to work a few math problems with me and convince me to take Algebra. If he had not done that, I would have ended up being a year behind all of the people I was competing against for college admissions, and would have had a harder time with college math. He was my most “Baylor” teacher in 8th grade, and helped me catch up on school spirit and culture and the intricacies of “long days” and “short days”. He also taught me important things: -Basketball is far superior to wrestling -Never ride a motorcycle -What izza behind you, izza behind you. -Pep rallies during class time are perfectly appropriate. I'm sure that he will be missed. Bill Rodgers
