Obituary of Larry Raymond Allen

Larry "Goose" Raymond Allen, 66, of Chattanooga passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 in an area hospital. Larry was born in Scottsboro, AL and has been a resident of Lookout Valley for many years. He was the owner/operator of Allen Construction, an avid Vols fan, NASCAR fan and golfer. He leaves behind his wife of forty seven years, Vickie Neal Allen; sons, Tim (Angie) Allen, Larry Allen II; grandchildren, Shayna (Bobby) Tudors, Shelby Allen and her boyfriend, Gage Kilgore, Morgan Allen and T.J. Allen; great-grandson, Hayden Tudors; brother, Dale (Marsha) Allen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 12, 2017, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Christina DowlingSoka officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West. Buddy Blevins, Rick Smith, Steve Barnes, Butch Cloud, Ricky Miller, Bobby Blevins and Ray Smith will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of T.G.A. The family will receive friends from 4-9 PM on Wednesday and 4-9 PM on Thursday at Wann Funeral Home.
