I am sorry for your loss. But know in God's Word the Bible found at Revelation 21:4 which says, He will wipe out every year from their eyes and death will be no more and death will be no more, neither mourning, nor pain be anymore. Look forward to this wonderful promise.

Tim clearance and Vicky, I cannot even try to tell how heart broken I am over our loss. I thought the world of big Larry, he helped me raise my two boys and they think of him as there second daddy and I hope Tim and Clarence think the same of me. I love all of you so much. I just wished I could have been at the funeral home and the funeral but the Lord had other plans. It sure did me good when Tim came down to the house Tuesday night and we had a good cry and talked for about an hour. Sure hope to see all of you soon. My prayers are with you all today because I. Know it's going to be hard to say goodby but we will see him again one of these days if we are ready. Love yaw

We were so sorry and saddened to hear of this. So sudden. Words cannot describe the impact this man and his loving family and friends had on our lives. A man who knew the true meaning of giving selflessly, expecting nothing in return. I still tear up at the mention of this name. We will not be able to make it as our schedules and jobs will not allow us to come at this time. Please know that our hearts and prayers are with each and everyone of you, Vickie, his family and friends. We love all of you so dearly. I remember the first time I met you, Vickie. It was New Years in Spartanburg, South Carolina and Linda had cooked a pan of Lasagna. You said Larry would not eat that. I told you to tell him that as he was working on his third plate. Funny how I still remember that. He loved that Lasagna. I pray that God gives you peace and strength and gives you and yours comfort. God truly took another Angel home. If you need us for anything, just call. We may be 8 hours away and it may take us a little while, but we will be there.. Love you always. Bruiser & Linda Franks and family.

We are so sorry about Larry's passing. We were such great friends for many, many years and especially when we lived in the Chattanooga area. He was always so nice and could say really funny things. He was super helpful to Austin during his RACING days. He was such a good friend to Austin. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Vicki and family: Doesn't look like I will be able to come to Larry's funeral. I tried for hours to get ride Monday, but no luck. I am so sorry for your grief and pain, and knowing Larry isn't in pain anymore, helps some. I have been remembering the times we played as children in that house on the hill, and the time the wheel came off the wagon, and we couldn't stop laughing. I sat down Sunday night when Dewayne called, and had my cry, as I do with each member of my family when one dies. Its another part of my past that is gone forever. But I am thankful for the memories, and Vicki, you made him a happy man. We all loved Larry, as did anyone he met. I pray God will comfort you and family during this time, and carry you through the hard times you will have. Just know I am here if there's anything I I can do, and know I love all of you, and you will always be in my heart, as will Larry. IN HIS HANDS, Karen Allen

Vicki and family, I'm so sorry. My wife and I were just talking a couple of days ago about some of my memories of working at the parts store for y'all. You and Larry were always so kind to me and I felt like part of the family. It has been over thirty years since then but seems like a minute ago. He taught me a lot about being a man and I will never forget him.

When I first met Big Larry aka "Goose", he came to my lot with Vickie to look at a vehicle for his granddaughter. He walked straight up to me and said I was told to ask for Crazy. Of course I replied...that would be me! So the name stuck. Always a smile and a hug and never without a little joke. My heart goes out to all the family. Y'all have made such an enpact on me.

Vicky, you and the family are in my prayers and thoughts. Larry was always so kind and helpful to me and my kids. I can still see the two of you sharing a dance at Patrick's. He's smiling down on you all, and will be waiting for you. May God give all his family peace in knowing that he's no longer in pain, and is golfing on a course of gold.

One of my favorite people, Larry will certainly be missed. His humor cracked me up. I will never forget the day I saw him at Las Margarita's and he approached us with that infectious smile and said "Doug you done Wintered up" since that time Doug lost 40 pounds...only Larry would use the word "Wintered UP" to this day we just bust up laughing as it was the funniest saying we had ever heard for someone that put on a few pounds. We will all so miss him, one special guy! RIP Larry, you will be so missed but we will meet again.
