I'm sorry for your loss there are no words that can ease your pain. I just hope that your family will find peace and comfort from this hope and promise from God's Word the Bible...That death would be done away with 1Corinthians 15:26 and the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. Revelation 21:4,5 and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: Look! I am making all things new. Also he says: Write, for these words are faithful and true.....This is God promise and guarantee!!

How I loved this man and his family. They became my extended family and I looked on Frank as a father. He was always the Southern Gentleman, kind and compassionate. I have been blessed many times over for his being in my life. He loved giving candy to the young and the elderly. We are only promised 3 score and 10. God loved Frank Smith and blessed all who knew him by giving him many additional years to be with us. We loved him and always will. May God send comfort in the memories each of you share that become tomorrows treasures.

How I cherished and respected "Snuffy." As a young girl, he coached a softball team for girls in St. Elmo. It was after becoming an adult that I realized the gift he gave us. After working a long day, he gave us his time. I was amazed at his recollection of everything about WWII. I wish I had visited him and heard more stories of The Greatest Generation. Polly, Steve, and Bobby, you were blessed to have him in your life and for so long. My very deepest sympathy. Kathy Russell Stephens

You were a great brother and always looked out for me growing up and I would not have made it but for you & sis. I remember after you got out of the service you would take me to the movies every Saturday which was a treat for me during the hard times we lived in. I will always cherish the special bond we had growing up and also reminiscing as we grew old together. I love you and will sorely miss you. Ruth
