We are broken hearted to say goodbye to our friend and Dentist for so many years. Reggie was special in so many ways. He was a great supporter of Wrestling and always knew what was going on with my team. He always talked to me when my mouth was numb and could still understand everything I said, it was amazing! He was the first Dentist the girls had and being human they loved him. We are so PROUD to call Reggie our Friend and he will always live in our mind and heart.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Gaddis. I was a patient of his for many years. He was always very kind and spoke in a very soothing manner. He had the ability to make you feel that you had known him for a very long time. Dr. Gaddis was sincere in his conversations with me and always kept things on the light-hearted side. I am sure he will be missed by a great many people. It was a pleasure to have met him.

To see Reggie’s smile placed one on me. He stands out in my OLPH and NDHS memories for two reasons. The first is his his infectious sense of humor (always ready with a joke or prank). The second is on the football field. Reggie was kind of like Rudy in the movie of the same name. What he lacked in size was made up by his desire. Always first in line for drills. He was an inspiration. After a bad play or even a good one, Reggie was right there to offer encouragement!
I lost contact with Reggie after high school. But seeing his smiling face, brings back wonderful times.

Wonderful memories of time spent together. All the Thanksgivings and you carving the turkey. Fun on the farm swimming, riding the newest toy and celebrating my daughters engagement. Sitting in your family room watching RV for the first time and watching you laugh so hard at Robin Williams. Many, many boat trips on the lake and down the river. All the years working with you in your office. All these are warm memories that will never be forgotten. We will miss your kind and gentle spirit. Until we meet again dear friend.

Q: What will you never forget about Dr. Reginald?
A: So shocked to see that Dr. Gaddis had been sick and had passed. I will never forget how we laughed and how he always told me, he catered cowards!! He always put me at ease and with all the dental work I have had done by him, he never made anything uncomfortable! I was a patient of his for a long time, dating back to when he was in practice in downtown Chattanooga! It was always nice chatting with Dana before and after my visit. I always found Dr. Gaddis to be compassionate and caring about not only my dental needs, but for me! As far as I am concerned, he was the best!!
My thoughts and prayers go out to Dana and the rest of the family. You will miss his presence in your life, but the love and joy he taught you everyday, will always be with you and in your hearts.
