Larry Dean Metz, 76, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on December 23, 2020. Larry was born on December 14, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Hank and Beulah Metz. He retired from Alstom Power with almost fifty years of service where his career too him from Michigan to New Hampshire, Connecticut and eventually to Tennessee. Larry was a master bridge player, loved games and was a passionate race car fan.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Art Metz and Hank (Fern) Metz; daughter-in-law, Beth Metz and granddaughter, Michelle Persinger;
Survivors include his wife, Linda Lee Metz; son, Steven Dean Metz; daughter, Carolyn (James) Willis; grandchildren, Christina (Frank) Padgett, Nicholas (Karenëlisë) Metz, James Scott and Samantha Scott; great-grandchildren, Conner, Eli, Nicholas, Eva and Zoe; sister-in-law, Jane Metz; very special friends, Bill (Sammy) Kingston and Rick (Linda) Young; many special nieces and nephews.
