So this is my grandpa. This.was his spot in the living room. The furniture changed occasionally over the many years but he basically sat here. The kittens are mine. The ones he roled his eyes and grumbled about when I showed up needing to stay there. Again. Which he let me. Again. My grandpa was kinda "Grumpy" but he was kind of a softee too. And I know he loved me. Truely unconditionally.
I wasn't always a 'model granddaughter.' I definitely wish I could change some things I did those years ago. I feel regret and shame and remorse almost daily. And even more so for all the missed time.
