As a physcian, Dr. Mullady was a model of dignity, skill and compassion. When I came to Chattanooga in 1991 as a neurologist fresh out of training, he treated me as an equal colleague from day 1, which isn't always the case with the established pillars of the medical community. It was an honor to serve as a consultant on his patients. I was very happy to have had the chance to speak with him a couple of months ago, reminiscing about medicine and life on Elder Mountain. Condolences to his family.

It was with great sadness that I read of Tom's death. He was my personal physician for over 40 plus years. I had the utmost confidence in his care of me. My sincerest thoughts, love and prayers I send to his entire family at this time. He loved and was so very proud of his children and grandchildren. We enjoyed sharing conversations about our families. He also cared for my wife, Patsy, until her death in 2014. She shared the same confidence in him.

Dr. Mullady was the BEST! He was my doctor for 25 years, my husband’s for more than 30 years. No one could ever fill his shoes. He was always so patient and kind, and I never doubted his advice. Our deepest condolences to his family...he was a treasure!
