Remembering Clankston and the influence he and Pat have been on my life for many years now. He and my dad are having a long talk and enjoying each other’s company as they did at Henderson’s Garage many times. What a time they are having reaping the rewards of so many years of service to others. I love you guys and am praying for you. Sorry I’m not able to make it to the services or visitation. I am caring for my mom as she goes through her first round of chemo and can’t leave her to be there but my heart and my prayers are beside you! You are very dear to me!!

I met Clankston and Pat when I was a teenager and my Dad and Mom were into CB radios. That was a long time ago. I have always known that he was a man of God and lived his life to be a blessing to all that met him. I know he will be missed by a lot of people that loved him dearly. I pray for peace for his family. Heaven has gained a great disciple.

Clankston was my pastor for many years. I always loved to hear him preach and he was the best preacher ever! He was a devoted pastor and friend. He was a good and genuine man. He will be missed greatly by my family and many, many others. He will not be forgotten.

My sincere condolences to Pat and family. I remember Clankston when he was a minister at Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was loved by the community of families in this area. My grandmother, Tilda Davis and my aunt, Lois Kennedy were regular members at this time and loved the messages Clankston shared with his congregation. Another angel has entered heaven's gate. He will be missed here on earth but our loss is truly heaven's gain.
