Obituary of Russell Wayne Hopkins

Russell Wayne Hopkins, 70, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Saturday June 8, 2019 at a local hospital.

 

He was the owner/operator of Kings Den Barber Shop for many years and most recently he worked with Avis Car Rental.  He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Karen J. Hopkins, son, Donnie Hopkins, sister, Brenda (Michael) Vowell and grandchildren, Morgan Hopkins, Will Hopkins and Katherine Hopkins.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Jenkins officiating.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Hamilton County Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, Bayside Baptist Building Fund: 6100 Highway 58, Harrison, TN 37341, or the charity of one's choice.
