Obituary of Arlen Blackburn Morgan

Arlen B. Morgan, 77, of Chattanooga passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at a local hospital. 

He was a former Spanish teacher in Oak Ridge, TN, a HAM Radio Operator with the handle, N4PO, and a retired United Methodist Church Pastor serving several churches in the Holston Conference. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Spurgeon and Althea Blackburn Morgan and a brother, Ross Morgan. 

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Maria Morgan, daughter, Marcie (Eric) Baker, brothers, Tom and Marion Morgan, granddaughters, Riley, and Emily Baker and several extended family. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 12 noon in the Wauhatchie United Methodist Church with the Rev. F. Thomas Messer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Morgan Springs Cemetery, Morgan Springs, TN. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
