Dick was such a great man. Earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain. I remember a number of years ago when my late husband, Tad, was umpiring a Lookout parks and rec baseball game that Charlie was playing in. Dick evidently said something disparaging about the officiating at some point in that game. Even before Tad got home, Dick called the house and told me he wanted to apologize to Tad for what he said. What an expression of godly character. Dick was truly a channel of God’s blessings.
Please know that I am thinking of your family and praying for you. May God surround you with His peace, love and comfort. What complete joy Dick and Tad are having at this very moment in the presence of their Lord and Savior!
In His love,
Barbara Mindeman

I was so honored to care for Dick for several years. He was so inspiring and he taught me so much about patience, grace and faithfulness. I so enjoyed getting his encouraging devotions. Charlotte was also inspiring. I’m sad at Dick’s passing but I know without a doubt that he is in his heavenly home. Prayers for peace and comfort to his beautiful family.

I had the privilege of of working with Dick as a caregiver and friend several years ago. His love of the Lord was always apparent despite his physical challenges. Dick was always pleasant and happy and never missed being grateful for the time spent with him. I know he is happy to be with the Lord and enjoying his new freedom. I look forward to meeting him again someday and renewing our friendship.
