Our sincerest condolences, love and heartfelt prayers to Johnny's family. We've known Johnny for years from our church family at Abba's House/Central Baptist Church of Hixson.
I always enjoyed our conversations. Johnny's kind demeanor and warm smile were always appreciated. He will be greatly missed.

i worked with Johnny a number of years as his dispatcher before joining Central Baptist. He was always a pleasure to talk and work with. He was always an advocate for what was right and fair. I will always remember him as my brother in Christ. He had a big heart for others.

Johnny was a strong believer, servant, and great friend to all at Abba’s House. During my time there I had many conversations with him. His wit and wisdom were always appreciated. He worked long hours staying with us while we were ministering to others or being ministered to. He always told me he would stay as long as needed. He would say, “If one soul was saved or one family salvaged it was worth the wait.”

Tim loved his great-uncle. Johnny Ray was a blessing to a lot of people and he was also very special. Saturday we will celebrate life and knowing that one day we will all see each other in heaven. Our prayers are with the family in time of this loss.
