My deepest condolences to the family of Luis Lorenzo-Rivero. He made such a lasting impression of joy for anyone who met and knew him. A man with a huge heart, endless smiles and full of wonderful stories. He made those around him smile and laugh with his contagious personality. My sincere sympathy to Dr. Shauna Lorenzo - Rivero, his wife Shannan and family.

Luis and Shannon have been volunteering in the Tennessee Aquarium exhibits as horticulture volunteers for years which help us get our exhibits ready for opening. He kept asking for a raise or double time!! All of us here will miss his sunny disposition and jokes...
Luis was a terrific person with a great sense of humor. He had fun stories to tell to those who knew him and he always brought a smile to those people whose life he was able to touch. He certainly contributed a lot to the many organizations he helped and he will be missed by his wonderful wife Shannon, their family, and of course his friends.
May God continue to bless Shannon and their daughter and keep them surrounded by his love always.
