Bro.Dykes was a wonderful person always willing to give that helping hand to anyone that needed it and will be missed greatly. I will never forget the night he asked the question is there anyone in the building tonight that needs to come and pray and turn it all over to the lord, that was mine and dana,s night that we got saved at shady grove baptist church jan,1 1995. He was a inspiration to Dana and I and we will miss him. So all of our thoughts and prayers goes out to you all in this time of separtion. May god Bless you all

Sister Wanda and Family: We were sad to hear about the passing of Bro Dykes, but rejoiced at his promotion to heaven. We have fond memories of him and all your family growing up in the Hooker Church of God. You all have been a great inspiration in our Christian walk and our foundation of faith. There's going to be a great homecoming soon, and we will see him again. Please find comfort in knowing his faith has now ended in heaven at the feet of Jesus. He is being reunited with all our brothers and sisters there. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time. He will definitely be missed and leaves behind a great legacy.
