Obituary of Caleb Logan Cooke
Please share a memory of Caleb to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Caleb Logan Cooke, age 15, was called home to His Heavenly Father during the night on Saturday, December 1, 2012 to begin his mission in the Spirit world while he awaits the Resurrection. Many miracles and blessings preceded his birth so as to allow him to be born whole, to aged parents. He weighed 5lbs. 8oz., and from that moment on he blessed his parents, grandparents, and his brothers and sister with his sweet disposition and thoughtfulness. Caleb met every test in his life with courage and faith. He attended Ganns Middle Valley School, New South Daisy Christian Academy, and Silverdale Academy prior to middle school. Early on in his life, we learned that he was struggling with several learning challenges. With the help of the Silverdale Academy IMPACT teachers, he overcame many of the challenges, and when he completed his middle school experience at Silverdale he was eligible for the honor roll and Beta club, and was attending regular academy classes. He went on to attend Ivy Academy in high school where his teachers appreciated and loved him. He made many new friends there and was happy there. He was recognized for having the highest GPA in the freshman class. Caleb studied Tae Kwon Do and was a level I, Second Degree Black Belt. He enjoyed cub scouting and was a Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos prior to receiving his Arrow of Light Award, before crossing over to Boy Scouts. He enjoyed being a Boy Scout and had completed enough merit badges to earn his Eagle Scout Award. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Emily Cooke; and his maternal grandfather, William Jackson Richardson. Caleb is survived by his parents, Thomas and Wanda Cooke; brothers, Corey Drew Cooke and Alexander Thomas Cooke (Zsuzanna); sister, Bethany Harry (Steve); grandmother, Norma C.
