We Will Miss You Caleb, We will never forget you and your kind voice and sweet smile. I loved you coming to visit us when you came to Linden to see mam maw Cletus. I will never forget those days when you got here, I would come and pick you up and we would go get Matt and come back to my house. You and Matt would eat pizza, drink cokes, and play all those games. I will never forget those good times you and Matt had at our home. Cousin Joy Gordon

My Cousin, My Friend Caleb was a great friend and cousin. We always found something to get into every time he came to Perry County. There just wasn't one good memory of Caleb, there were many. I will definitely miss hanging out with Caleb at his mam maw's house and my grandmama's house! I guess God just wanted a new light for His Christmas tree.

House Full of Boys Caleb became one of my sons closest friends his freshman year at Ivy Academy. Actually, there was a pack of them that referred to themselves as "A Band of Others" including Jamie and David. Alec asked if he could have an end of the year celebration at my house and of course I said yes. After work I came home to a pile of boys playing video games, eating chips and speaking a language I couldn't understand, the language of the geeks!! These boys were so intelligent that I could not keep up so I went to bed!! I was so proud that Alec knew you Caleb!!

There is nothing that anyone possibly say to someone to make the pain easier when they have lost a child. Our family struggled through this pain one Christmas... I know we do not know each other, but I felt moved to tell you, that you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will carry you in his arms through the darkness and back into the light. I pray for a smile to once again, soon, come across your face and that your heart will someday soon, feel light again. And I pray that you will have peace knowing that your beautiful son is in the loving arms of our Savior Jesus Christ. May God Bless you and keep you. -Cynthia (Friend of Heather Pollier)

Wanda, I know I can not say anything to comfort you at this time. I was so shocked and saddened to read about Caleb today. I am out of town Thursday through Sunday and am just sick I can not hug your neck. I hope those beautiful albums I watched you so diligently make all those years will be such a gift to you and your family. Please know I will pray for comfort and the Lord's strength all this weekend for you...love - Mary Elizabeth

Wanda, Just got back from Wisconsin when I went to curves to see a card on the table for you. Then to hear of your terrible passing of Caleb was almost to much to process. I could not exercise for the heaviest of my heart for you. I just needed to get home and start sending prayers to heaven for you dear young boy. I did not know much about your son other then the love you have for him and how he always came first in your busy life. May your loving memories fill your void in the days and months to come. God does need talented children like Caleb in heaven to lead the other children that are there. He is a special angel with lots of talent. I know that path will be hard for you as it still is for me. Love and prayers. Penny Ross

Tom, Wanda, and Corey, May God comfort your family and all who knew Caleb. Our hearts are broken. We loved his presence in our home. He has given Matthew lots of happy hours. They enjoyed sitting together at church and Sunday School when he came to mam maw Cletus'. Caleb would read and participate in answering Bible questions. May we never forget his kindness, his soft voice, or his sweet smile and may he be an example to all who remains behind. Just as the sun will set then rise with each and every dawn, the souls of those who lived life will eternally live on. Now that the sun has seemed to set on one so very dear, please know a soul who lived life so well remains forever near.
