David and linda, I am embarrassed to send you are message in such a impersonal way. I am so sad at Chrisy's passing. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for you. I am in IL and have made commitments here thru Saturday and cannot be back for any of the services for Christy. I so apologize. Of course many of us want to send some sort of material condolence. To Christy's Parents, I am deeply saddened to hear of Christy's passing. I very much appreciated our time together growing up on Starboard Drive and she left an indelible mark on me. Despite not having contact in decades, her legacy helped provide me direction professionally in a manner for which I am grateful. Dave & Linda: Our thoughts and prayers are with you both during your time of loss. After reading the eulogy, we know you both are finding comfort in your faith in God that you shared with Christy and she with both of you. What a legacy for a person to leave - to be praised for her love of the Lord, her caring nature for others and her ability to speak public prayers to God that were touching and uplifting to others. These are the qualities God tells us in His Word are most important to Him - to love Him first and then love and care for others. We pray God will grant you comfort in knowing and remembering these things about your beautiful daughter. We were so sad to hear of Christy's passing. She was the sweetest person that we knew. Her prayers in our Sunday school class, Open Door, at Burks United Methodist Church were the most earnest and genuine that we ever heard. Christy lifted us up and made us better. When our class leader was out of town one Sunday, I facilitated our Sunday school class. We told stories about our lives, and Christy was so funny when she recounted her experience with a party at her parent's house that got out of control, and she had to call her parents, who had gone out of town, to confess what had happened. We know that she is now whole again with Christ, and she has assumed her spiritual body.
