Obituary of Susan Kay Gorman

Susan Kay Gorman, 51, of Soddy-Daisy went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 25, 2011 at her residence. Sue worked for the City of Chattanooga in the Community Development Department. She was originally from Harvey, Illinois and had traveled all over the United States as well as Korea and the Philippines. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Sowers. She leaves behind her loving husband of five years, Don; and his four children, Jeff, Nick, Taylor and Gabrielle; her mother, Martha Sowers; brothers, David and his wife, Lynn, of Indiana; Robert and his wife, Regina, of Alabama and Brian and his wife, Carin of Huntland, TN as well as her sister Lou and (Emilo) Zarate, also of Huntland and fourteen nephews and twelve nieces. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 PM on Wednesday in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitch McClure officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30 until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
