Brian David Carter, 40, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011. He was a 1989 graduate of Hixson High School and an Eagle Scout. Brian made his career in the Yacht Sales industry. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Carter; father, David Carter of Soddy-Daisy; mother, Lynne Yarbrough of Chattanooga; sister, Kristen Carter of Milwaukee, WI; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Roberta Carter of Hixson; maternal grandparents Roger and Lois Ulm; special friend, Janeanne LaPoint of Soddy-Daisy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28,2011 in the funeral home chapel with Min. Bill Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
