James Maxwell Cohen Thomas, 51, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 in an area hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas and brother, Billy Thomas. Survivors include his wife, Donna Thomas; mother, Bobbie (Curtis) Adcock; son, Cohen Thomas; daughter, Jenifer (Jon) Travis; sisters, Kathy (Jack) Jones and Margaret Johnson; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7PM on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Melvin Tibbs officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-9 PM on Tuesday and from 10AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
