"Pappy" Bakes was the best father-in-law a man could ask for. I've known Mr. Bakes for almost 19 years, and was fortunate enough to be included in his family for the last 2 of those years. He truly believed in the man I could be, and taught me so much about how a young, wild kid could grow into a respectable, loving husband and father. I still feel like I had so much more to learn from him. He's always treated me like his own son, and I hope he knew how much I respected and admired him. We'll sure miss you, Papster.
