Obituary of James Kinser Dailey

James Kinser Dailey, 87, of Hixson passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in an area hospital. Mr. Dailey retired from Combustion Engineering after many years of service. He was a United States Army Veteran and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Cline Dailey; sons, Jimmy L. Dailey (Ellie) and Charles L. "Tinker" Dailey (Sharon); granddaughters, Amy Dailey Ragan (Randy), Deanna Dailey Boehm (Darren) and Lee Ann Dailey Massengill (Perry Zane) and five grandchildren, Aidan Massengill, Grayson Ragan, Ava Massengill, Abby Ragan and Taylor Boehm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park with Randy Ragan, Perry Zane Massengill, Darren Boehm, Jim Sedman, Bobby Mason and Sam Kilgore serving as pallbearers and James "Junior" Pelfrey and Terry Pelfrey serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
