I am so sorry to hear about Missy...unfortunately I have been out of touch with her for the last 5 years or so...she was an awesome woman and will be sadly missed...May the comfort of knowing her heart bless your family. I can see her laughing with our Lord now with her big smile.

Myssi was so much fun to be around. I will always remember her big, beautiful smile and her larger than life personality. I pray for comfort and peace for her family and children. She will be missed but one day we will all be together again.

My husband and I met Melissa and Donnie while all three of them were taking chemo treatments---a very nice couple who both had a postive attitude and a smile on their faces. I will always remember Myssi...if it had not been for her my husband and I would not be together today..she played a huge part in bringing us together way back in high school..she would not give up until she talked me into going out with him and here we are almost 23 years later and we are still happily married...all due to myssi's persistence...i love her and will always remember her..i just wish we had been in each others lives in the last several years..she will always be special to dale and i..i'm so sorry for the loss that her family is feeling but i know that she is in a better place waiting for them..you will be missed myssi..xoxoxoxo..Crystal and Dale Minton

I am so sorry for the loss to Melissa's family and friends and sad that she is not here with us on earth but her faith, hope and courage was such an encouragement to me and to so many. She was beautiful inside and out and her smile brightened everyones life she was around. I will miss her and I know so many others will too but she has walked through the gates of heaven and has no more pain or suffering and is she walking on the streets of gold and rejoicing and I will see her again one day when God calls me home!!!

We met Melissa and Donnie when they joined Dallas Bay Baptist Church about 4 years ago and we loved them after our first meeting. The last words that we heard Melissa say was "I love you guys"! We had heard those words many times and we knew that she meant them everytime! We love you Melissa!

We already miss the love and laughter with our dear friend, Myssi. I am grateful that God allowed our paths to cross during this lifetime. She was an incredibly faithful friend, wife, and mother, who loved passionately and unconditionally, but most importantly, she fervently loved her Lord. Her trust in Him manifested through her strength, peace, and unspeakable joy throughout her darkest days, which were a testament to her unwavering faith. Our prayers are lifted up on behalf of her precious family, whom we love dearly. Myssi, we find comfort in knowing that you are in the presence of our Abba Father. You now have seen what our eyes have not seen, and you now hear what our ears have not heard. Something tells me that if you could speak to us now, you would say, "It was so worth it all..."
