Dear Sammie and Chuck, I want you to know that I believe that I was blessed to know Ron. Outside of my own family, Ron probably had as profound an effect on my life as anyone that I've met. As you know, Ron was my first supervisor at TVA. He taught me many things, among them being the importance of integrity and high standards of performance. Throughout our time together at TVA, he always dealt with others with respect. I was blessed not only to work with Ron, but I was also blessed to know him as a Christian brother and friend. He was one of the rare people that was always the same no matter what the setting. He never showed one face to the world and another in private. Ron was Ron, no matter what the circumstances. His faith in our Lord was always evident and he lived his testimony. In all settings we had a lot of smiles and laughter. I will miss his quiet wisdom and his warm smile. I will miss him this side of glory, but I know that I will see him again when we meet in the presence of our Lord. Fred Mashburn
