Obituary of Robert Thomas Griffin

Robert Thomas Griffin, 29, of Plainsboro, NJ and formerly of Hixson, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. He was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. He was currently employed as a research assistant with NEC Labs while working toward his doctorate in electrical engineering.
Survivors include his parents, Tom and Debbie Griffin, Hixson; sisters, Dori Griffin, Hattiesburg, MS and Melanie Griffin, Tampa, FL; paternal grandfather, Thomas Griffin, Union City, TN; maternal grandmother, Judy Bell, Jacksonville, FL.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ken Duggan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 PM Saturday at Legacy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 850 Fortwood St., Chattanooga, TN 37403 or to your church of choice.
