Dearest Moma, It has been 12 years since you gained your wings and flew from us to heaven. We love and miss you still. We are approaching the Christmas Season and want you to know you are still our brightest star. Love from all of your children, Jackie, Frankie, Doris and Dixie. Oh moma, I wish I knew what you think of your grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nikki named her new baby after you-Emmarie. I know you are smiling on each of them.

Beautiful Moma, It will be a year this Friday Nov 12 that a hot sword pierced each of our hearts. Our most precious and beloved jewel was taken from this earth to brighten heavens light. There are times it seems only a month or so and times it feels like it was only yesterday. You taught us many things while growing up with us but we learned more in your leaving. You said you would miss us and I told you we would miss you more. How true, how true. My wish is that God will take all the tears we've shed and place each one on your wings. You are a Beautiful Angel always.

Moma. today is November 8. 2017 and 8 years ago was the hardest week Jackie, Doris, Dixie and myself have ever gone through. This was a week of tears and questions from you. Before you left you talked with each of us girls and told us something important to carry us along without you. We are blessed with wonderful memories and think of you every day. You are loved by so many that talk with us and recall a story or two about you and most of them are funny. The last thing you discussed with me you said you knew you were leaving and did not want to. I do believe God gave me the words to tell you. I told you that although you thought this world was so beautiful, don't you know God saved the best for last and that world of heaven will be more beautiful thank this world could ever be. I hope when you reached heaven you found this to be true, I hope everyday is beautiful for you moma and I hope God lets you feel our love for you now and forever. The only thing that consoles us in this life is that we know we will see you again in our tomorrow of life everlasting. Love you mom.....Frankie

Missing You Dearest Moma, I still miss you after all this time. You left so much of yourself in us when you went to be with God and your family. I wonder if in Heaven, the angels think of their loved ones, do they know when we are thinking of them, do they know when we mention them in prayer, do they know we still love them? I cannot believe in my heart of hearts that the angels do not know. There isn't a day that passes that one of us does not mention you, recall a memory of you or advice that you gave. We find ourselves thinking, Well, moma would say, or moma would do, or moma would not like, etc.). I thank Legacy for having this page we can write on because it does help to have a place to send a note or letter. Pray for us moma because this world is getting worse everyday, it is not the world it is some people in the world that are so mean. Keep us ever near your angel heart, in your prayers. We know you are with us just like we know God is with us everyday. Love you moma. Frankie

Today, we have lost our best friend, our loving mother. She was a cheerful giver and loved life. She told me many times, when this day came she would not want to go. Last week she told me she was leaving, did not want to go because she would miss us so. I told her we will miss you more. I could say, the light of our life is gone, but this would not be so because she left a burning ember inside each one of us. An eternal flame that will burn forever in our hearts. Love you mom. Always, Frankie

Our deepest sympathies are with the family. May they have only loving memories of this special mother and find comfort in knowing they will never lose the bond that comes from their lives with her.

Mama's been gone for 24 hours and it's still hard to believe. But, I also know that she's in a much better place than this earth allows. Our family will always appreciate the time we had with her. We will always remember her kind and caring ways for her family and friends. She always helped those closest to her. I just hope that I can be half as good an example as my mother was.

Moma, It has been over two months since you left us. We are all having a hard time missing you, our tears have not begun to dry. We try to go on, we try to be happy for you. God must have a special place for broken hearts where he can touch one each day. Or he has left these hearts in the care of a special angel whose job in heaven is to console broken hearts. If he did not do this Himself or have an angel to do this for Him, we would cease to exist on this earth. It is hard losing a mother, a husband, sister or brother that you loved so well while they were here with us. I know you are having a good time in Heaven and my prayer is to see you again. There is not a day that goes by that Dixie, Doris and I do not think of and talk about you. You taught us so well. Thank you. Love, Frankie

April 13,2010 Moma, I have you on my mind tonight.Somehow, it helps to write on this web site at times like these. Doris celebrated her birthday Friday and I just want to thank you, once again for bringing her into our family. Jackie's birthday was in January and he has been a blessing to us girls since your passing. My birthday is in May and I want you to know how much I appreciate the life you and God gave me. I try to be a good example for the rest, just as you taught me. Moma, I could tell you a thousand times a day, "I love You" and that would never be enough. My heart breaks, even now but I know I will see you again. I just wish I could feel your little arms reach around me once more. I will always miss and love you but I am not alone the rest of the family feels the same. Love from my heart to yours, bear it on angel wings always. Frankie

Dearest moma, today we celebrated Thanksgiving and we mentioned you in our Thanksgiving Prayer. We thanked God for you for without you there would not be of us. I told all of our in laws that without your giving us birth they would not have wed a female in the family and may have never had a chance to know you and your family. We love and miss you mom but we rejoice in knowing you sat down and had manna with the Heavenly Family and your family that preceded you. Pray for us moma as we pray for you every day. Love, Frankie

Moma, so many of your friends have walked out of the door of life and through the gates of Heaven since your passing. Our love for you is as strong as ever and we will never get used to not seeing you here with us. Virginia Gann is strolling through heaven as I write this and I do hope you see one another again. You loved her so. It is October and the leaves are changing color which makes me think of you even more. Our hearts ache for you. God knows this and He comforts us everyday. Don't worry about us we will see you soon. Love, Frankie
