Obituary of Laurence Jerome Johannes

Laurence Jerome 'Larry' Johannes, 67, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Friday, June 5, 2009 at his residence. Larry was a former foreman of the Town of Bedford, New York Water Department and the ex-chief of the Katonah Volunteer Fire Department. He was recently employed with Lowes in Hixson for seven years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Mary Johannes and brother, Peter Johannes. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Johannes of Soddy-Daisy; ; daughter, Suzanne Johannes of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Thomas (Cathy) Johannes and Kevin Johannes both of Baltimore, MD and Robert Johannes of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Brian Johannes of Jasper, GA and Richard Johannes of Pleasant Valley, NY; grandchildren, Tommy Johannes and Allison Johannes both of Baltimore, MD; A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Mike Creson as Celebrant.
