I shared a very long friendship with Dodie and she was like a sister to me. Dodie and i shared a lot of special memories from me match making her and jerry to their marriage and the birth of their two special sons Kyle and Justin. Dodie was the first to hold my daughter Amanda and my son Michael as she help deliver them both. Dodie was my daughter Amanda's Godmother and i don't know what i would have done without Dodie helping me. I called Dodie all hours of the night for help when they were sick and she always was there in a matter of minutes and lot of the times stayed the night at my house to help me. It would take a book to write the memories of our friendship. Dodie and i also shared a lot of mutual friends and we all ended up being called the GOLDEN GIRLS by a lot of people. I can say without a doubt Dodie was a golden lady that touched so many lives and was a role model for so many children she opened her home to. I will have a void in my life but i will have memories to treasure and so glad that God gave me such a wonderful person in my life that i called "my special friend" I love you Dodie and Thanks for being my friend. iam very sorry her life was short she touched alot of people lifes she will be missed i rember last thanks giving i heard a bunch of horns blowing at my house i looked out and it was her and some of the other officers they brought thanks giving to us if it would been for her my family would have done with out i will miss her i worked with her and waited on her a resurant i worked at just rember she is watching everyone boys your mom really loved you thats all she talk aboutand her husband she has a great family i will pray for yall
