I am very sorry to hear about Robin's illness and death. I have some very fond memories of our high school days together. We and other friends spent many hours at the ball field, camping out, and "growing up." Robin and I were on the boxing team together and coach Fairbanks often paired us together to "spar." We were pretty evenly matched in those days even though he had a better right hand and I had to do a lot of ducking. Although, I didn't see him often, mostly at high school reunions, we always had a lot of respect for each other and shared some great memories. His passing seems too soon and too sudden. Robin and my brother, Eric, were good friends and I'd hoped to have them both around much longer. Sincerely, Steve G. Ferguson.

Deborah, You don't know me, but I have known Robin since I was about 10 years old. We were neighbors in what used to be White Oak (Red Bank now). Robin was 3 years older than me, and most guys at that age won't have anything to do with a younger guy like me. But Robin was different. He was kind to everyone, even a little kid like me, 3 years younger. I will never forget that kindness either. We saw each other now & again at TVA, where I also retired in 2004, like Robin. I also was in the Navy at the same time, 1968-72. Robin was the same nice man all the time, when he was young and when he was older. I will never forget his kindness. I'm so sorry I won't get to see him again. I know you will miss him greatly. Take care. If I can do anything for you and your family, call me or email me. Pat Hagan

Please except our condolences, I worked with Robin at TVA Police and I wish I could be there, but I am home sick. We truly understand your loss, and our hearts and prayers go out to you and the family. I just recently heard of Robins illness but it was hard for me to come by and visit. We lost our son last year and I still find it very difficult when others lose a loved one or are seriously ill. Again our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. He is truly in a better place and one day we will all be together again.

Dear Deborah, You have been wonderful through this heartbreaking experience and I want to thank you! Robin was so lucky to have you loving and caring for him. You understood what Robin meant to all of us who were his friends and you were so kind to open up your home to allow us to come see him. I know it was terribly hard. I don't think I know anyone who has suffered so sweetly-as you. To know him was to love him and I loved him like a brother since we worked at Sequoyah. He was always high in spirit, fun to be around, and one of a kind! He will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered. He would want us to be there for you too, should you need anything. So, keep all our numbers handy. It would be an honor to come should you call. Thank you so much for everything, Becky

I have nothing but fond memories of Robin Gann. I had lost touch with him over the years, but occasionally did run into him. He was always upbeat and seemed so happy and was always interested in where I was playing music. I remember all the good times at the Red Lantern years ago. I will miss his happy smile and pleasant attitude. My condolences to the family. I'm sure that God will have a special place for a person like Robin................Bill McCallie

I would just like to say I am so sorry for your loss. I have been friends with Robin since I meet him at Eddie's Gym back in the early 80's. I also worked with him at TVA. I also went to bike week with him and another great friend and Robin's friend Larry Melton. I did not know that Robin was sick. I am typing this a very sad and crying man because of the loss of a good friend. Again I am so sorry for your loss and I wish I could have seen him one last time but after he retired we just lost contact.
