Carolyn Louise White, 59, of Jasper, formerly of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008 in an area hospital. She was of the Church of God faith. Her parents, Vernon and Sally Burnette preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Thomas White; daughters, Peggy (Michael Willbanks) Spangler of Ringgold; and Penny (Robert) Hester of Ft. Oglethorpe; brother, Herbie Burnette of Ball Ground, GA; sisters, Joyce Morris , Lynda Sneed, Wilma Benton, all of Soddy-Daisy and Janet Sherman of Niota, TN; grandchildren, Ashley White, Kathalene Simpson, Amber Wilkey, Brittany Wilkey and Dustin Wright; great-grandson, Donald Leeth. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Billy Bice officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN. 37379.
