Obituary of William Warren Vandergriff

William Warren Vandergriff, 67, of Hixson passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at his home. Mr. Vandergriff was a faithful member of Covenant Free Will Baptist Church and retired from DuPont after many years of service. He also was a stone mason and owned Mountain Stone Homes in Wilmington, NC. Survivors include his wife, Pat Vandergriff of Hixson; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Susan Vandergriff of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Kimberly Vandergriff of Hixson; parents, William L. and Marry L. Vandergriff of Hixson; brother, Kenneth Vandergriff of Hixson; grandchildren, Heather and David Vandergriff of Wilmington, NC. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Covenant Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Marcus Clagg officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 16, 2008 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
