Obituary of Royce Ann Mincey

Royce Ann Mincey, 58 of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008 at her residence. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Royce was preceded in death by her parents, Elton James Worley and Gladys Melton Worley and sister, Laura Elizabeth Medley. She is survived by her husband, Leonard 'Toots' Mincey of Soddy-Daisy; son, Anthony Walker of Gruetli-Laager, TN; sister, Joyce Morrison of Palmer, TN and grandchildren, Elton James Walker and Letisha Walker both of Gruetli-Laager, TN. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Dodson and Rev. Danny Keener officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park with Greg Scott, Gene Ricketts, Richard Hale, Alvin King, Donnie Robert and Euall Morgan serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00-11:30 Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Mincey will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.
