Mae Belle Roberts, 69, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at her residence. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and retired from Suburban Manufacturing after many years of service. She loved flowers and enjoyed cooking for her family, which she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nannie Snyder; brother, Walter Snyder, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Survivors include her husband, William Paul Roberts; sons, Darryl (Becky) Burchard, William Robert (Tammy) Walker and Christopher Walker all of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Kathy Flerl of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Willard Snyder and James Snyder, both of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Hailey Burchard, Joshua Flerl, Sarah Flerl, Jacob Walker, Anna Walker, Shawnee Walker and Kelsey Walker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. George Ashburn officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN. 37379.
