Obituary of Tony R. Shipley

Tony R. Shipley, 37 of Hixson passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008. He was a resident of Hixson and lived several years in Ft. Payne Alabama. Tony attended Rivermont Elementary School, Hixson Jr. High School and Central High School. He also attended Chattanooga State and was a member of Will's Valley Community Church in Ft. Payne, AL. Tony was a welder by trade. Survivors include his wife, Brenna Ann Shipley of Ft. Payne, AL; children, Josh Shipley of Ft. Payne, AL; Payton Shipley of Soddy-Daisy and Jessica Medley of Ft. Payne, AL; father, Steve Shipley of Red Bank; mother and step-father, Joyce and Jim Anderson of Hixson; brother, Michael Shipley of Rossville, GA and granddaughter, Jordan Medley of Ft. Payne, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
