I was talking with a co-worker today at lunch and she mention her uncle had passed and said his name. My heart almost dropped to the ground because there could have only been one Suel Rievley. When I was young my mother was friends with him and I had many fond memories of him. He was a very special person to my mother. I lost my Mom in 2005 and hearing about him today made me have so many happy thoughts of him and my Mom. I would like to say to his family that I know their loss is great, as with my Mom, he was a very special person and my Mom was so blessed to have him in her life.

I met Suel thru my job as a branch administrator for Graybar Electric Co. in 1976 & he was a wonderful and kind man. He always had a smile and went out of his way to say hello when he would come into the counter at Graybar. He helped my husband on some electrical work every now and then and my husband had a lot of respect for Suel. I retired a couple of years ago and really missed seeing Suel. I was very sad to hear of his passing. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his wife and family. They just don't make 'em like Suel Rievley anymore!

I was the office manager for Fleetwood Home Center and Suel was the electrician that wired all our homes. He also wired my home and did other electrical work for me. He was an amazing man! The only time I ever heard him complain, it was because he thought that someone had not been treated properly. One of his pet peeves was that he hated to see a man dressed up and have on dirty shoes. He always made me laugh. Suel was one of the very few men that I have met that was a true gentleman. He ate many meals with my family and even helped me wash dishes. That was an experience! He will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss him terribly! His family was very fortunate to have such a man to share their lives with.

Suel was always willing to help anyone, early in my career, I was a counter sales rep, Suel took me to his job-sites to help me understand the product application. Suel also showed me how he handled his payables and receivables, this helped me understand "cash flow"it gave me a snapshot on how to assess profitable or non profitable electrical contractors. From a business standpoint Suel always, always told me to look after the Company's best interest. This is something that is still engrained in me today. Suel really liked his trips, mostly from what I recall his trips to Florida and the "sqeezes" that would accompany him. I really liked hearing about his trips when he came back. Suel was a simple man, with great values, character and a larger than life heart. He will be deeply missed. Mark Rieth
