Eula Mae 'Tommie' Colburn, 85, of Chattanooga went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, May 22, 2008 at home with her family by her side. Tommie was born in Rockwood, Tennessee. At the age of 22 she moved to Chattanooga. She was employed by Red Food Stores and retired in 1983. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie and George Fine; first husband, Frank Walker and second husband, Wyatt Colburn; an infant daughter, Barbara; two sisters, Minnie Altman and Ruth Clinton and brother George Fine. She is survived by her daughter, Frances (Charles) Hayes; step-daughters, Carol Joy (David) Harris, and Charlotte (David) Tinnon; grandson, David (Pam) Roberson of Dunlap; step-grandsons, Eric (Jennafer) Hayes and Dr. John David 'Chip' (Cindy) Harris; step-granddaughters, Allison (Doug) Petty and Audra (Allan) Green; nieces, Brenda and Sy'Donna Jackson; nephew, Randy (Michelle) Price and five step-grandchildren. Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, May 25, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dean Waters and Rev. Terry Evans officiating. Interment will be in Edgemon Cemetery in Ten Mile, TN. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
