Earl Leonard Stephens, Jr. 'Stevie', 48, of the Lewis Chapel Community went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Friday, April 25, 2008 in an area hospital. Stevie love to spend his time in the mountains and the greatest love of his life was his daughter, Mindy Jo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Leonard Stephens, Sr; grandparents, Early and Eunice Raulston and Coke and Ollie Stephens.
Survivors include his daughter, Mindy Stephens of Dayton; granddaughter, Addison Stephens of Dayton; mother Rozetta Ennis of Hixson; brothers, Chris Stephens of Hixson and Kevin Stephens of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Pamela Gray of Soddy-Daisy, Sherry ( Steve) White of Soddy-Daisy and Lisa (Carl) Zagona of Rossville; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Mr. Stephens will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at his favorite place on Lewis Chapel Mountain.
