Alex Frank Bosmeny, 86, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the United States Coast Guard. Mr. Bosmeny retired from Technicolor Corporation as a photographer after 25 years of service. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, Red Bank Masonic Lodge #717 F&AM, Alhambra Shrine Temple Provoste Unit, a Scottish Rite Mason and active member of the Chattanooga Choo Choo Model Railroad Club. He is survived by his wife Celia Bosmeny, of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Rev. Alan Bosmeny of Elkton, Maryland; daughter, Bonnie Bosmeny-Schumachur of Port St. John, FL; grandchildren, Ryan and Jordan Bosmeny; Jim and Debra Fahey; Don and Diana Fridline; John and Cindy Badal and John and Kathy Hagy and numerous great-grandchildren. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to New Salem Baptist Church Building Fund, 9806 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. At Mr. Bosmeny's request their will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
