Obituary of Kenneth Donald Hamby

Kenneth 'Jake' Donald Hamby, 70 of Soddy-Daisy passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in an area health care facility.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Hamby and sisters, Aileen Smith and Barbara Mulkey.
He is survived by his son, Jackie Hamby of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Mike Hamby and David Hamby, both of Soddy-Daisy; Tom Hamby of Little Rock, CA; and Ray Hamby of Palm Dale, CA; sister, JoAnn Gravett of Hixson; grandchildren, Anthony Hamby and Brian Hamby, both of Soddy-Daisy.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 17, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with Vernon Sneed officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
