Benjamin Franklin Hall, 88, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008 in an area hospital. He retired from Soddy Elementary School after many years of service. Mr. Hall attended Rehoboth Baptist Church and was an Army WWII Veteran serving in the Philippines. He was preceded in death by his brother, Emmett Hall and sister, Ethel McGill; He is survived by his wife, Winnie Hall of Soddy-Daisy; daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Calvin Woods of Hixson; brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Janette Hall of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Kristina and Kinsey; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Monday, March 17, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alan Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to Rehoboth Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
