Obituary of Emon Landreth

Emon 'Junior' Landreth, Jr., 80 of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 in an area hospital. He retired from combustion engineering and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emon 'Bud' and Florence Landreth; brothers, William, W.D., Robert and Arnold Landreth; sister, Reba Rector.
He is survived by his sons, Allen Landreth of Soddy-Daisy; Eddie Landreth of Chattanooga and Mike Landreth of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Kay Sherril of Chattanooga and Glenda Smith of Soddy-Daisy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ted Painter and Rev. Charles Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Wilcoxen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Monday, March 10, 2008 at the funeral home.
