Obituary of Louise P. Jollay

Louise P. Jollay, 96 years of age, went to join her husband, Rev. Malcolm Jollay in Heaven on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. She faithfully served by her husband's side, in the United Methodist Church, throughout the Holston Conference for 38 years. She had been a resident at The Terrace Retirement Community before spending the last 5 years living with her son and daughter in-law in Hixson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Stella Sherlin, Leona Cole, Pauline Rogers Sharp; brothers, Jim Sherlin and Paul Sherlin. She is survived by daughter, Dorothy (F.W.) Creasman of Lebanon, TN, son Ernest (Jean) Jollay of Hixson; four grandchildren, Debra (Ric) Creasman-Phillips, David(Deborah) Creasman, Tim(Amy) Jollay, Pam(Bobby) Walls; six great- grandchildren and four step great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center with the Rev. Steve Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the funeral home.
