Cleo G. Lewis, 85, of Signal Mountain passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007 in an area hospital. She was a member of Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Joseph Lewis; brothers, Edwin Vandergriff and Edgar Vandergriff; sisters, Edna Bolen and Isabel Mayberry.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Lewis and Joe Lewis, both of Hixson; daughter, Judy Grant of Dayton; sisters, Alma Conner of Red Bank; Juanita Varner and Ardelia Potter, both of Hixson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Miller and Rev. Richard Horner officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM today at the funeral home.
