Obituary of William Robert Davidson

William Dub Robert Davidson, 83, of Hixson passed away Thursday, November 15, 2007 at his residence. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Davidson; parents, Warren and Laura Davidson and sister, Jewell Mahan. He is survived by his daughters, Glenda Hill of Soddy-Daisy and Kathy Cawood of Hixson; Sisters, Reba Thompson of Birmingham, AL and Katherine Layne of Hixson; granddaughter, Wendy Crumley of Sale Creek; great-grandsons, Hunter and Colton Crumley and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alan Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Dividing Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 5-8 PM today at the funeral home and from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
