Obituary of Franklin Paschall Key

Paschall Key passed away at his home November 14, 2007 at age 90. He was a native of Paris, TN and moved to Chattanooga in 1949. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Esther (Morsch), Children Richard (Kyra Dobler), Frank (Irma), Robert and Donna Key, grandchildren Richard Key II, Julie Meadows, Dr. Megan (Martin) Gabalda, Brandon and Natalie Key, nephew Mark Wright, great-grand children Alexis, Madison, and Jayla Meadows (Julie's) and Mason Key (Brandon's) and his sister Opal (Joe) Reker. Paschall worked 28 years at the W. L. Jackson Mfg. Co. and retired as the Vice President of Finance. He pursued an avid investment management career until his death. He enjoyed reading and was a church organist. He was a member of the American Guild of Organists and enjoyed symphony and opera. He was an occasional writer for his hometown paper the Paris (TN) Post Intelligencer. He was a teacher, storyteller and friend of the Chattanooga area Churches of the Nazarene. He was a member of the Grace Church of the Nazarene, 6310 Dayton Blvd. where a gathering will be held for all friends and family from 1:00pm Friday, November 23rd followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Grace Church of the Nazarene. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
